Sundar Thulasiraman founded Polos Inc in 2008 in Tirupur, India’s textile heartland, with a decisive objective: to bridge the gap between traditional garment mills and modern enterprise procurement requirements.
For decades, corporate organizations, educational institutions, and brand retailers were forced to navigate multi-layered middleman brokerages and retail print shops that inflated pricing, used generic off-the-shelf blanks, and compromised on fabric consistency. Sundar envisioned a different model: a fully integrated, factory-direct manufacturing partner that delivers export-grade apparel with complete engineering transparency.
Over the past 18 years, under Sundar’s strategic stewardship, Polos Inc has grown from a specialized local knitting workshop into a powerhouse manufacturing infrastructure producing 50,000+ garments monthly. The factory specializes in advanced flat-knit jacquard collar tipping, bio-washed honeycomb cotton pique, and high-density multi-head Tajima embroidery, serving over 1,000 corporate clients across India and exporting to 25+ countries.

We believe great apparel begins in the yarn spinning and knitting machines. We control yarn count (super-combed 24s, 26s, 30s), fabric GSM (180 to 260 GSM), and specialized enzyme bio-washing to ensure zero pilling, maximum breathability, and lasting dimensional stability.

We eliminate trading agencies, third-party distributors, and reseller commissions. Our clients deal directly with our production facility in Tirupur, receiving authentic wholesale manufacturing rates, transparent lead times, and digital pre-production proofs.
